CAIRO – 24August 2017: After the end of the second fixture of the English Premier League, the Fantasy Premier League updated the points of all the players in the league.

Egypt Today decided to look at how many points each Egyptian player received in the last fixture of the English Premier League.

Egyptian National team and West Bromwich Albion’s defender Ahmed Hegazi received the most points among the Egyptian players. After keeping a clean sheet in his second consecutive game, Hegazi acquired a total of 8 points. He received 6 points for keeping a clean sheet and 2 additional bonus points for playing 90 minutes, and he contributed in West Bromwich’s 1-0 victory against Burnley.

Liverpool’s winger Mohamed Salah only received one point during this round. Salah did not receive much play time in Liverpool’s game against Crystal Palace. He entered in the last 30 minutes of the game to help Liverpool score the winning goal. Salah did not have a great impact on the game and that is why he received one point in this round. Coincidently, Salah is Liverpool’s most expensive signee.

Similar to Salah, Stoke City’s winger Ramadan Sobhy received one point after coming in the second half in Stoke City’s game against Arsenal. Sobhy did not receive much time to preform in Stoke City’s last game, and as a result the Egyptian winger received one point.

Lastly, Arsenal’s defensive midfielder Mohamed El Neny received the least points among all Egyptians. El Neny got zero points due to him not participating in Arsenal’s last game against Stoke City.

The four Egyptian players will face each other in the third round of the English Premier League. Mohamed El Neny (Arsenal FC) will play against Mohamed Salah (Liverpool FC), while Ahmed Hegazi (West Bromwich Albion) will play against Ramadan Sobhy (Stoke City) on August 27.
