CAIRO - 22 August 2017: Egypt won Mexico 4-1 on Monday to achieve its second win at the FIVB U23 World Cup.

Egypt wanted to return on the winning track after losing the last two games against Cuba and Brazil. It had won its first game in the tournament against Japan.

Egypt won the first two sets 15-5 and 15-7, but the Mexican team had a comeback and won the third set 15-13.

The Egyptian team prevented any surprises from the Mexican team, finishing the game 4-1 after winning the last two sets 15-9 and 20-8.

Egypt remains in the fifth place in the group with six pionts. The team will play its last game in the tournament against Poland on Wednesday.

Egypt is in Group A, alongside Cuba, Mexico, Poland, Japan and Brazil, while the other Arab nation in the tournament (Algeria) plays in Group B alongside China, Iran, Argentina, Turkey and the reigning champion, Russia.
