CAIRO – 22 August 2017: Chelsea’s striker Diego Costa spoke on August 21 about how he reacted to Antonio Conte’s, Chelsea’s manager, text message.

Speaking to MC News, Costa said his opinion on the message Conte sent informing him that he is not in his future plan for the next season. Costa also talked about his three-year time at the club and what future team he wants to join.

Costa said, “Conte's text? It was a moment of madness. It can happen, but I thought it was disrespectful,” citing from Goal.

He continued, “I always asked to speak face to face with the coach and the board. I never sent [them] text messages, so it shows what kind of person he is,” according to Goal.

Costa concluded, “If I'd been in the team for three years, it was for them and the dressing room, which was very much united. It was a great experience. I already have in mind where I want to play and I've made it very clear,” reporting from Goal.

Costa is reported to go back and play for his old club Atletico Madrid according to ESPN and Sky Sports.

Diego Costa managed to score 58 goals and assist 24 times in 120 games he played at Chelsea FC as referenced from transfermarkt.com leading Chelsea to win two English Premier League titles in just 3 years.
