CAIRO – 21 August 2017: Hossam El Badry, Al Ahly’s manager, spoke on August 20 about some of the important issues regarding Al Ahly team.

Speaking to ON Sport Channel, Badry talked about considering changing the formation along with addressing the possibility of selling Al Ahly legendary striker Emad Moteab and also stating the characteristics of Al Ahly youngster Karim Nedved.

Badry told ON Sport, “I am considering changing the formation from playing in a 4-2-3-1 formation to a 4-3-3 in order to suit the style of the new players in the team such as: Ahmed El Sheikh, Islam Moharab, Walid Azaro and Junior Ajayi.”

Badry added, “I don’t mind selling Emad Moteab, if a good offer comes and the player wants to leave. Moteab is considered to be in the final stage of his career. He might not have another chance of playing and that’s why I don’t mind selling him if he wants to leave and a good offer is presented.”

Badry concluded, “Nedved has a fast momentum on the pitch. He is a player that has great qualities and fulfills his defense and attack roles perfectly. Nedved will have an important role with us next season.”

Hossam El Badry managed to win the Egyptian League and Cup with Al Ahly this season without conceding any local defeat.
