CAIRO – 18 August 2017: Huddersfield Town faces Newcastle at the second round of the Premier League on Sunday.Huddersfield Town fans can’t wait to support the team on a Premier League game at home.
“I am very excited about Sunday's game. I'm sure it will be an extraordinary atmosphere against Newcastle," Huddersfield Town manager, David Wagner, told reporters ahead of the game.
Huddersfield won their first Premier League game 3-0 against the veteran club in the league, Crystal palace on Saturday.
The Local magazine in Huddersfield , Huddersfield Daily Examiner explained how the Premier League promotion affected the small town. “Walking through the center of Huddersfield these days, it's impossible to go five paces without a flash of blue and white, red and black or even navy and pink passing you by. There is a unity and collective pride that hasn't been present in some time, and a mood of joy in the air that few can previously remember.”
