CAIRO – 17 August 2017: The head coach of the National Volleyball Team announces the final squad list of the players who will represent Egypt in the U23 Volleyball World Championship.

Brazilian coach Marcos Miranda, the head coach of the under 23 national team, announced the final list of Pharaohs to compete in the World Championship, which will start on Friday August 18 until August 25 at the covered halls complex of Cairo International Stadium.

Miranda said that the final list of the team includes 12 players: Ahmed Saber ‘Fatouta,’ Ahmed al-Ashry, Hisham Yusry, Omar Saleh, Mohamed Ramadan, Mohamed Mohsen, Ahmed Osama, Abdul Rahman Saudi, Abu al-Said al-Sayed, Ahmed Diaa, Saad Mohsen and Ahmad Galal.

The Brazilian coach had settled on the main squad list after the end of the third friendly match played by the Pharaohs against Algeria which ended by 4-1 victory for Egypt, while the first two friendly matches against Turkey ended by losing the first and winning the second.

Egypt is in group A with Japan, Mexico, Cuba, Poland and Brazil.
