CAIRO – 14 August 2017: Marcos Miranda, the head coach of the U23 volleyball national team, prepares his players mentally and physically to get a good position at the Volleyball World Championship.

The Brazilian, Miranda, has asked the national team’s players to focus and take great responsibility of their training and performance during their participation in the FIVB U23 World Volleyball Championship, which will be hosted by Cairo and will start on Friday with an opening match between Egypt and Japan.

Miranda, during the closed camp, which the team has been playing for more than two months in preparation for the World Championship, has been keen to equip the players with some individual, technical tactics and improvements to avoid the individual mistakes that may occur during the competition.

The coach stressed to the players the importance of playing with great enthusiasm in order to achieve victory and qualify to the final stages of the World Championship, and not to be satisfied with just the honorable representation in that tournament.
