CAIRO – 12 August 2017: Arsenal won their first Premier League match against Leicester City, defeating the Foxes 4-3 on Friday evening at Emirates Stadium.

Alexandre Lacazette scored the first goal for Arsenal in the second minute, while Shinji Okazaki equalized for Leicester only three minutes later.

Jamie Vardy scored the second goal for Leicester in the 29th minute, but then Dany Wellbeck equalized the score for Arsenal only seconds before the first half whistle.

The second half saw a dramatic scenario, with Vardy scoring again for Leicester in the 56th minute, Arsene Wenger making two substitutions, and Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey participating instead of Mohamed El Neny and Rob Holding.

Aaron Ramsey scored an equalizer for Arsenal in the 83th minute, and then Giroud scored Arsenal’s winning goal only two minutes later.

Egyptian midfielder Mohamed El Neny played a great match against Leicester. He assisted with the first goal in the Premier League this season with the pass to Alexandre Lacazette.

Arsenal succeeded in achieving the first three points in the League, raising the expectations for the team this year.
