CAIRO – 11 August 2017–The Egyptian swimmer Mohamed Al Husseiny prepares to enter Guinness World Records to be the first with special abilities,“Down Syndrome”, to cross the Manch.

Hala Al Tobgy, the mother of the champion Mohamed Al Husseiny, said that over the ten years between 6 years to 17 years, he took part in local and international tournaments and won medals and participated in the World Championships in Italy in Florence 2016, and participated with Captain Khaled Shalaby in 3 international tournaments in the open water in Hurghada,so he had anencounter with open water to give him the idea to try to cross the Manch.

Husseiny’smother pointed out that they did not have many sponsors unitlHadeed Al Masryeenrecently stepped in asa sponsor. In this respect, sheextended special thanks to businessman Ahmed Abu Hashima, for his care of Husseiny.

The Bavarian group BMW joined the sponsors of the champion in covering the journey of Husseiny,the first worldwide talent with Down Syndrome to try to cross the channel.
