CAIRO – 11 August 2017 - The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has applied officially on Friday for hosting 2026 World Cup.

The official website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has published that the Federation has applied officially on Friday to the FIFA requesting to host the 2026 World Cup. The Federation has put its candidacy file with the relevant committees in the FIFA in order to host this international football event.

Morocco has already won the honor of hosting one of the major football tournaments in 2013 and 2014 as the FIFA Club World Cup was held for two years in row at Morocco for the country’s great ability to organize the tournament and for the high quality stadiums it has.
