CAIRO – 6 August 2017: The Egyptian women’s basketball team will play on August 6 their second match in the Arab Basketball Women’s Championship that is held in Egypt from August 5-10.

The Egyptian women’s team is set to play their second match of the tournament against Tunisia on August 6, as they hope to gain their second victory after defeating Iraq in their first match with a score of 114/51.

Following their match against Tunisia, the Egyptian National Team will play their last match in the group stages against Jordan on August 7. On Tuesday August 8, all teams will receive a day to rest before continuing the competition in the following days.

It is good to mention that the Arab Basketball Federation was considering postponing the tournament, especially after receiving the approval of only four nations (Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, and Iraq) to participate in the tournament.
