CAIRO – 5 August 2017: Real Madrid’s attacking player Cristiano Ronaldo spoke last Monday about his intentions to go back and play for England.

Real Madrid’s star player was in the court last Monday after being accused of tax evasion back in 2014. While being at the court Ronaldo revealed that he prefers returning to England instead of staying at Spain, as reported by Sky Sports and Goal on August 5.

Ronaldo said to the Judge, "I always paid my taxes, always. In England and in Spain. And I always paid,” reported from Goal.

He added to the judge, "I never had these problems in England. That's why I want to go back there,” according to Sky Sports.

Ronaldo told the judge, "I paid everything in 2014. I don't understand anything about this, I only went to school until my sixth year and the only thing I know how to do is play football well. When my advisors tell me, 'Cristiano, it's okay' then I believe them,” citing from Goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo signed a 5year contract on November 2016. He then led Real Madrid to winning their second consecutive Champions League trophy on June 2017.
