CAIRO – 3 August 2017: Headed by Mohamed Ali Abu Zeid, the Egyptian Taekwondo Federation selected the final team list on August 3 for the Egyptian Junior team that will participate in the third World Championship on August 23.

Ahmed Sultan, one of the board members of the Egyptian federation, will head the National Junior team, Dr. Ahmed Zahran the Technical manager leads the team with the general manager Captain Mahmoud Abd Al- Gawad and Ahmed Hassan as the assistant coach.

The technical team selected twenty players, with half the squad being men and the other half are women.

The following men were selected: Fadi Medhat Safwat , Youssef Essam Mohamed, Mazen Adel AbdAllah, Adham Tarek Essam , Mostafa Ahmed Farag , Ahmed Hassan Al-Dessoki , Ali Hashem Mostafa , Mahmoud Hesham , Omar Fathi Al-Sayed , and Ahmed Mahmoud Hossam .

The following women were selected: Habiba Mohamed Al-Sayed, Shahd Sami Ahmed , Toka Talaat Ramdan, Shahd Ahmed Al Sherbeiny, Nadeen Amr , Habiba Mohamed Saeed , Toka Shaaban Suliman, Aya Mohamed Mahmoud, Salma Amr Ali and Haneen Gamal Abdallah .

The Taekwondo World Junior Championships will be played from 23 to 27 August in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
