CAIRO – 1 August 2017: The PSA World Tour’s official website announced on August 1 the rankings of the top 10 male and female squash players of the last month.

The men’s ranking saw a complete domination by Egyptians, having seven players in the top 10 for the last month.

The ranking of the top 10 male squash players in the world is as follows:
1. Gregory Gaultier (France)
2. Karim Abdel Gawad (Egypt)
3. Mohamed el-Shorbagy (Egypt)
4. Nick Matthew (England)
5. Ali Farag (Egypt)
6. James Willstrop (England)
7. Marwan El Shorbagy (Egypt)
8. Ramy Ashour (Egypt)
9. Tarek Momen (Egypt)
10. Fares Dessouky (Egypt)

Meanwhile, Nour El Sherbini managed to remain a top-ranked female competitor for 16 consecutive months.

The ranking for top 10 female squash players is as follows:

3. Camille Serme (France)
4.Lauro Massaro (England)

Egypt has long been known for their domination in squash. 11 out of the 20 men and women players listed in the top 10 rankings are from Egypt.
