Egypt loses in opening of Finland’s Wrestling Championship

CAIRO – 1 August 2017: Ahmed Hassan Ali and Samy Hamdi the junior national team for wrestling have been defeated on the first day of the World Championship in Finland, which started on Tuesday and lasts until August 6.

As Ahmed Hassan lost in the round of 32 for the freestyle wrestling competitions against the Azerbaijan champion with a 4-1, and Hamdi lost to the champion of Iran 5-0 in the round of 32 as well in the weight of 74 kg, according to Super Kora.

Egypt is represented in the freestyle wrestling competition by Hamdi in the weight of 74 kg, Ahmed Hassan in the weight of 60 kg, Amr Reda in the weight of 66 kg, while in the Roman wrestling competitions Egypt participates with 3 players Mohamed Ibrahim in the weight of 66 kg, Hassan Hassan Ahmed in the weight of 60 kg, Ahmed Hassan Ali in the weight of 84 kg.
