CAIRO – 31 July 2017: Liverpool’s attacking midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum praised his Egyptian teammate, Mohamed Salah, on Sunday.

Speaking to Liverpool’s official website, Wijnadlum praised Salah’s qualities and the last goal he scored against Hertha BSC in Liverpool’s 3-0 victory on Saturday.

“He's really flying,” Wijnadlum said of Salah. “I didn't see his goal because I was in the changing room but I heard it was a good goal.”

"He has settled in really well. He's not only a great player but also a great person, and that makes it easier for him but also for us to accept him,” Wijnadlum added.

He ended his comments to the website by saying, “Since the moment he came here, he felt free to be himself. It's a good thing for us."

Salah arrived at Liverpool during 2017’s summer transfer window. He came after showing his skills during his two-year spell at AS Roma.
