CAIRO – 30 July 2017: Ahmed Hassan, former player for R.S.C. Anderlecht and Zamalek, spoke to Egypt Today on July 30 about Zamalek’s expected manager Francky Vercauteren.

Talking to Egypt Today, Ahmed Hassan said, “Zamalek’s officials contacted me to ask about my opinion on Francky. In my opinion, I believe that Francky is an experienced manager who coached a lot of teams. He is a great manager, but there are things that needs to be done to ensure his success.”

Adding on Hassan stated, “Francky admires players that work hard in the training session along with focusing on playing beautiful football. He has a great personality and aims to improve the stamina of the players.”

The 42-year-old manager of Egypt Premier League’s Petrojet concluded, Ahmed Hassan concluded, “If Francky calls me I would advise him to take control of the team without anyone interfering in his work; along with appointing a credible trustworthy assistant coach.”

Francky arrived to Egypt in the early hours on Sunday to negotiate with Zamalek’s officials about managing the team.
