Security increases number of fans in Arab Club Championship

CAIRO – 30 July2017: The organizers of the Arab Club Championship managed to reach an agreement on July 29 with the Egyptian Security to increase the number of fans in the semi-finals and final of the tournament.

The Egyptian security agreed to increase the numbers of fans to 25,000 in the semi-finals and final of the Arab Club Championship. The agreement came after the Ministry of Interior saw the excellent behavior of the fans in the matches of the group stages.

The following teams were able to qualify to the semi-finals of the Arab Club Championship: Al-Ahly SC, Fath Union Sport, Al-Faisaly SC and Esperance FC.

It is good to mention that the Arab Club Championship is held in Egypt from July 22 to August 5 with the matches being played at Al-Salam Stadium, Borg al-Arab Stadium and Alexandria Stadium.
