Uganda’s Manager Leaves the Team Ahead of Egypt’s game

CAIRO –30 July 2017: Milutin Sredojevic known as Micho decided to leave Uganda’s football national team ahead of Uganda’s match with Egypt in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers on August 31.

The Serbian manager will not coach Uganda’s team against Egypt after deciding not to renew his contract with Uganda’s FA after managing Uganda for more than 4 years.

Speaking to the reporters in the press conference, Micho said, “50 months passed ever since I signed a contract with Uganda’s FA. My contract with Uganda’s FA ended and I decided not to renew my contract. I don’t have any reason to resign but I have a million reason to not renew my contract.”

The 47 year old manager is known for his great achievement with Uganda leading them to qualify to the 2017 African Cup of Nations for the first time from 38 years.
Egypt is set to play Uganda two times in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers on August 31 and September 5.
