CAIRO – 29 July 2017: National team participations prevented Omar Gaber from joining the Premier League in the current transfer market.

International participation rate deprived national team and FC Basel right back Omar Gaber of transferring to the Premier League from the gate of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C., the new ascendant to the PL .

The team had agreed to sign the Basel and former Zamalek back, but the player's international participation rate, which did not exceed 60%, has prevented it.

The player's international participation rate declined during the last African Cup of Nations, in which the Pharaohs lost the final against Cameroon, Super Kora reported.

The English Premier League regulations stipulate that players from abroad must pass 60% of international participation with their national teams as a prerequisite for playing in the English Premier League.
