Hammamy will face world No. 3 Nour El Sherbini in the final on Saturday, aiming to clinch the title and extend her strong run on the international stage.
The Qatar Classic, a PSA Platinum event, is one of the most prestigious tournaments on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour. Held annually in Doha at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, the event attracts top global talent and offers a total prize pool of $463,000, split equally between men’s and women’s competitions.
Hammamy represents Egypt’s Wadi Degla Club, which has become a powerhouse in squash since its founding in 2002. The club operates 10 branches across Egypt and supports 20 sports, including squash, football, tennis and swimming.
