Farida Othman ranks in 25th place in Swimming World Cup

CAIRO – 27 July 2017: Egyptian National Team’s swimmer Farida Othman came in the 25th place on July 27 in the 100 meters free race in the 2017 International Swimming Federation (FINA) Swimming World Cup in Budapest, Hungary.

Farida Othman completed the 100 meters free race in 55 seconds and 52 part of a second making her finish in the 25th position.

She previously was able to finish in the seventh position in the 100 meters butterfly race after completing the race in 58 seconds and 67 part of a second.

It is good to mention that Farida Othman is expected to participate in the 50 meters butterfly race on July 28.

The Egyptian National Swim Team is represented in the tournament by Farida Othman, Marwan el-Kamash, Youssef el-Kamash, Ahmed Akram, Hania Mouro, Omar Eissa, Mohamed Khaled, Mohamed Samy and Ahmed Hamdy.

The Egyptian National Team is expected to continue their participation in 17th FINA World Championship in Hungary through July 31. The competition began on July 14.
