CAIRO – 27 July 2017: The U-23 Egyptian Handball National Team managed by Wael Abdel Atty is set to play against the Brazilian team on July 27 in U-23 Handball World Cup that is held in Algeria.

Egypt is set to face Brazil in the deciding match for the positions 17 and 18 in the U-23 World Handball World Cup.

Egypt defeated South Korea on July 26 in a dramatic match that ended with a score of 35/34 in the deciding match for the positions between 17-20. This was Egypt’s second victory in the tournament after beating Qatar on July 24 with a score of 30/29.

The following players were selected to represent the Egyptian National Team in the Youth World Cup:
