CAIRO – 24 July 2017: The national beach handball team, led by coach Amer Hassan flies to Poland for the World Games to participate in the beach handball competition, which will be hosted by Poland from July 26 to 29.

The team has made several camps before traveling to the World Games as preparations, and the national team includes for the first time a number of young players along with three players of international experience and the joining of young players to the team comes to prepare them well for the coming years and acquire international expertise through the participation of international championships and frictions with the big teams.

Eight national teams are participating in the World Games divided in two groups, the Egyptian national team plays in Group A, which includes Croatia, Poland, Egypt and Hungary, the second group includes Brazil, Greece, Australia and the Qatar.

The pharaohs start their journey with facing Croatia on July 26 and will face in the second game against Hungary in the same day the schedule of our national team matches with the World Cup will be played against Croatia on July 26 and will meet Hungary on July 26 and meet Poland on July 27, according to the World Games official website.
