23July 2017:Frank De Boer, current Crystal Palace manager, was angry after the match against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday due to many tackles against Crystal Palace talent Wilfried Zaha.

“They were really looking for him, to injure him, and we can't accept that. No manager can accept that,” De Boer told reporters after the game.

Crystal Palace won 2-0 over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League Asia Trophy in Hong Kong.

De Boer, 47 years old, talked about the bad effect of this behaviour on the Premier League’s reputation, saying, “If you want to sell the Premier League here and the beauty of the game, the beauty of the game is not those kinds of challenges.”

De Boer talked about the importance of the competition for his team, saying, “I saw some very good things, but we have to improve. Everybody can see that. To go home with a victory is nice; it gives you confidence, and overall I'm satisfied with the games."
