CAIRO – 19 July 2017: West Bromwich Alboin lost against Leicester City in Ahmed Hegazi’s debut with West Bromwich on July 19 in the Premier League Asia Trophy held in Hong Kong.

Leicester City managed to defeat West Bromwich with a 7-6 score in penalties after drawing 1-1 during the match. In a heated first half, Jay Rodriguez took the lead for West Bromwich just after 10 minutes from the start of the game. Then Leicester City’s winger Riyad Mahrez scored the equalizer for Leicester City in the 26th minute.

The pace in the second half slowed, with both coaches making several changes to give other players some field time. Both teams had several chances, but failed to score the winning goal, which led the game to penalties to determine the winner.
After seven penalty kicks, West Bromwich missed one penalty giving the victory to Leicester City.

The Egyptian International player Ahmed Hegazi was in the starting line-up for West Bromwich, preforming with confidence. West Bromwich’s youngster Wilson substituted Hegazi in the 65th minute.

Hegazi joined West Bromwich on July 17 coming from Egyptian League champions Al-Ahly.
