Egyptian swimming team competes in Hungry

CAIRO – 19 July 2017: Egypt Today is doing a review of the performances of the Egyptian national swimming team in the 17th FINA World Aquatics Championship being held in Budapest, Hungry from July 14 to July 30.

Egyptian swimmer Dara Tamar came in 22nd place out of the 32 participants in the free race after gaining 75.5 points.

Marwan el-Amary came in 18th place in the 5-km swimming race, with a time of 54 minutes and 4 seconds, while Adel Rageb came in 47th place in the same race after finishing the competition in 57 minutes and 57 seconds.

In the pair competitions, Tamer and Samia Hagras came in 25th place after gaining 75.53 points.

On a similar note, one of Egypt’s finest swimmers left USA to go to Hungry in order to participate in the 17th FINA World Aquatics Championships.
