Al-Ahly vs Zamalek - Kingfut

CAIRO – 17 July 2017: Al-Ahly SC is set to play against their club rivals Zamalek SC on July 17 at Borg Al Arab Stadium at 8 p.m. local time in the last fixture of the Egyptian League.

Al-Ahly will enter the match looking to snatch the three points in order to secure their no-loss record this season. Zamalek on the other hand will be looking for a win to compensate for their relegation from the CAF Champions League group stage.

Al-Ahly coach Hossam el-Badry is expected to begin the match with a 4-2-3-1 formation:


Goalkeeper: Sherif Ekramy


Defenders: Ahmed Fathy (right back), Ramy Rabea, Saed Samir, Ali Maaloul (left back)


Midfielders: Hossam Ashour and Amr Al Sulaya


Attacking Midfielders: Walid Soliman (Right), Abdallah El Saied (Middle), Moman Zakaria (Left)


Striker: Junior Ajayi


Augusto Inacio, Zamalek’s coach, is expected to start the match with a 4-3-3 formation:

Defenders: Hosny Fathy (Right Back), Ali Gabr and Mahmoud Hamdy el-Wensh as two center backs, Mohamed Nassef (Left Back)


Midfielders: Ibrahim Salah (Right) Tarek Hamed (Middle) Maarouf Yousef (Left)


Attacking Players: Shikabala (Right), Bassem Morsy (Middle), Stanley (Left)


Zamalek could start with their second goalkeeper Omar Salah, if Genesh fails the medical test later today.

Al-Ahly SC managed to triumph over Zamalek SC with a 2-0 score at Petro Sport Stadium in the first leg of the Egyptian League.
