CAIRO - 28 May 2022: Liverpool Senegalese winger, Sadio Mane, is closer than ever to leave Anfield with alleged contacts from Bayern Munich.

The Senegalese is expected to start on Saturday night against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final, which could be his last game with the Reds.

Mane's contract expires in the summer of 2023 and many reports claim that he decided not to stay in Liverpool for the last year of his contract.

According to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich are confident that Mane will wear their jersey next season. The player's future will be decided after the final.

"This question [about my future] I will answer after Champions League. If I'm staying or not, I'm going to answer after Champions League." Mane told the press ahead of the game.

The Senegalese has been a key player in Liverpool's squad since joining the club from Southampton, having scored 120 goals in 268 games and played a big role in Liverpool's revival under Jurgen Klopp.

Regardless of the jersey that Mane will wear next season, he hopes to celebrate the prestigious title on Saturday night in Paris.
