CAIRO - 5 May 2022: Mohamed Salah, Liverpool Egyptian winger, got what he wished for as his team will face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final in Paris on 28 May.

After Liverpool booked their place in the final on Tuesday, the Egyptian winger stated that he wants to face Real Madrid in the final of the competition.

Real Madrid achieved what Salah wished for after knocking Manchester City in the semi-finals on Wednesday in a crazy scenario.

Salah tweeted after Real Madrid's victory: "We have a score to settle."

In his tweet, the Egyptian referred to his team's 3-1 loss to the Spanish giants in the competition's final in 2018 when Salah's game was cut short as he was forced to leave the pitch in the first half due to a shoulder injury.

"We lost in the final to them... so I want to play against them and hopefully win it from them as well." Salah said on Tuesday.

Salah and his teammates are in contention for the quadruple this season as they bagged the League Cup title and they are in the final of the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup.

Also, Liverpool are in a fierce race with Manchester City for the Premier League title with Pep Guardiola's side leading by one point only four games before the end of the season.
