CAIRO – 13 July2017: With reports suggesting the French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko moving to Manchester United and Spanish striker Alvaro Morata to Chelsea, Egypt Today decided to write on what these two players will bring to both clubs.

Beginning with AS Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, Manchester United will gain dominance in the midfield and security in the defense if the deal is made.

Bakayoko is not considered to be the regular holding midfielder that just gets the ball away from the other team, but has the ability to build up the play and create chances.

He can link up with Paul Pogba very well in United’s midfield. Adding on to his advantages, Bakayoko is very good in aerial duels. He can help United by scoring goals through headers in set pieces.

Moving on to striker Alvaro Morata, the Spaniard is considered to be close to signing for Chelsea.

Morata is a talented striker who started his career at Real Madrid and then went to Juventus before returning back to his boyhood club. Morata is known for being a good sub for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. However, he played an essential role in making Juventus qualify for the 2013 Champions League final.

He is best known for his great headers and for being a target man.

This means that Morata sticks to his position as striker and does not drop to midfield a lot. The key to Morata’s success at Chelsea will be based on whether or not he will be able to link with Eden Hazard, Willian, and Pedro. If we look back to last season, Chelsea striker Costa did an amazing job in linking with these players, which led to him scoring many goals.

Manchester United entered the race to sign Bakayoko after their talks to sign Chelsea midfielder Matic slowed down.

On the other side, Chelsea decided to purchase Morata after Manchester United finalized the deal with Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
