CAIRO-26 March 2022: Ahmed El Shenawy, the refereeing expert, shared his views on the performance of Jean Jacques Ndala, the referee of Egypt's match against Senegal, which ended with a 1-0 win for the Pharaohs.

"Ndala made many mistakes during the game. The CAF refereeing committee must review his decisions." El Shenawy stated to Egypt Today.

The game witnessed many controversial decisions from the referee and El Shenawy believes that his decisions affected the result of the game.

El Shenawy added " Ndala was about to give Nampalys Mendy his second yellow card in the game but he then reversed his decision. It was not fair and allowed Senegal to complete the game with 11 players."

The two teams will face off on Tuesday night in Senegal to decide who will pick one of Africa's five tickets to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
