CAIRO-15 February 2022: All the eyes of the golf fans in Africa will be on Cairo as the Egyptian capital hosts the men's, boys' and girls' African golf championships this year.

The biggest golfers in Africa will represent their nations in the competitions, which will be played at the golf courses in Palm Hills.

The youth competitions will be played between 26 and 31 March and will see the participation of 100 players, who will battle to secure spots in the boys'and girls' World Cup.

The men's competition will start in September following the 2022 World Amateur Team Championships (WATC), set to be held in France between 31 August and 3 September, with the participation of the Egyptian national team.

Egypt is the first nation to host the men's and youth competitions in the same year, as part of the Egyptian Golf Federation's efforts to turn the country into one of the major golf hubs in the Middle East.
