Al Ahly aims writing history by facing Palmeiras in Club World Cup semi-final

CAIRO, 8 February 2022: Al-Ahly faces its Brazilian counterpart Palmeiras at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, Cairo time, in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup, which is currently being held in the UAE.
 
Al Ahly aims to qualify for Club World Cup final for the first time in its history. But they will have to beat strong South America's champion, Palmeiras.
 
 
French referee, Turpan, to rule Al-Ahly and Palmeiras match, with two assistants, Nicolas Danos and Cyril Gregory, Canadian Drew Fischer as fourth referee, and Australian Anton Steinen as referee for VAR video technology.
 
 
The Reds qualified to this stage after beating North America's champion, Monterry, 1-0 last Saturday.
