CAIRO –11 July 2017: Returning from Manchester United after 13 seasons, English secondary striker Wayne Rooney re-signed with Everton on Sunday.

Golden boy Rooney has joined Everton on a two-season contract, where he will play with Everton until the summer of 2019, Super Kora reported.

Rooney is Manchester United's all-time leading scorer with 253 goals in 559 matches, according to BBC sport.

The 31-year-old striker scored 27 goals from penalty kicks, six goals from free kicks, 37 goals from outside the box and 216 goals from inside the box.

These goals scored were splits between his head and legs as he scored 30 goals with his head, 28 goals with his left leg and 195 with the right.

Appearing in 85 matches with Manchester United in the Champions League, Rooney scored 30 goals and made 20 assists. Before his 13 season move to United, Rooney played 67 matches and scored 15 goals with Everton, according to Transfer Markt.
