CAIRO – 10 July 2017: Squawka released a report on July 7 comparing Romelu Lukaku with world class strikers of his age. They looked at the games each striker played and the number of goals the striker scored by the age of 24.

The following is the list of the world class strikers at the age of 24:

The Brazilian Ronaldo first on the list scoring 233 goals in 290 games by the age of 24.

Second was former Liverpool and Manchester United’s striker Michael Owen who scored 186 goals in 363 games.

Manchester United former striker, Wayne Rooney ranked third on the list scoring 174 goals in 427 games. Rooney currently plays for Everton as a striker.

Manchester City’s striker, Sergio Aguero ranked fourth by scoring 170 goals in 379 games.

Borussia Dortmund’s striker, Robert Lewandowski ranked third with 170 goals in 343 games.

Manchester United’s new striker Romelu Lukaku ranked sixth on the list scoring 165 goals in 374 games.

Seventh on the list is Barcelona’s striker Luis Suarez who scored 164 goals in 282 games.

Squawka also included the goals scored by the two super star players Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi.

Messi managed to score 253 goals in 443 games played. They reported Real Madrid’s iconic star Cristiano Ronaldo with 145 goals in 393 games played as the top goal scorer.

Didier Drogba turned out to be a legendary striker that scored only 18 goals in 83 games played in the professional level at the age of 24.
