Farag Amer: Islam Mohareb will join Al-Ahly

CAIRO – 10 July 2017: The president of Smouha, Mohamed Farag Amer, announced on July 10 that Smouha’s striker Islam Mohareb will join Al-Ahly SC.

Speaking to Filgoal, Amer said that the club agreed to Mohareb joining Al-Ahly SC. Farag Amer also reported to Filgoal that, “the club agreed to transfer Mohareb to Al-Ahly even though we had an offer from Al-Nasser Saudi Club.”

In addition Amer said, “Smouha will receive a lot of money out of this deal along with acquiring Al-Ahly goalkeeper Mosaad Awad on a long term contract, along with having 2 players go on loan to Smouha.”

Furthermore Filgoal saying, “we hope to sign Nasser Maher and Amr Barakat on a 1 year loan.”

He concluded his interview with Filgoal by saying, “I can’t announce the transfer fee until the player goes to Al-Ahly officially.”

Mohareb managed to score 5 goals and make 6 assists in his 26 appearances with Smouha SC this season.
