CAIRO-17 October 2021: Egyptian football fans will get the chance to watch and support their teams once again from the stands as the Egyptian Clubs Association (ECA), and Tazkarti announced the return of football fans to their favourite seats, starting from the new Egyptian League season.
Montaser El Nabrawy, Chairman of Tazkarti, and Ahmed Diab, the head of the Egyptian Clubs Association (ECA) held many meetings to decide the best way to allow a safe return of football fans to the stadiums.
Fan ID system will applied in the process of the fans' return as the 2000 fans, who will be allowed to attend every game, must have their Fan ID to be able to book their ticket through Tazkarti's website.
The Fan ID system has proved much success when it was first applied during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, hosted by Egypt in November 2019.
