Kisho & Metwalli lose the Romanian Wrestling Tokyo Olympics’ semi-final, play for Bronze medal

CAIRO, 3 August 2021: Muhammad Ibrahim "Kisho" lost the opportunity to reach the final of the under 67 kg competitions for Romanian wrestling after losing to Ukraine's Pavryz Nasipov in the semi-finals.

 

Kisho ended the first round with a 5-0 lead, and in the second round, Nasipov won 6-7 to win the match and qualified for the final.

 

Mohamed Metwally lost the opportunity to reach the final of the 87 kg competitions in Roman wrestling by losing to Hungarian Victor Lorenz.

Metwally finished the first round with a 2-1 victory.

 

In the second round, the first Hungarian in the classification reversed the result in his favour, achieving 8 points and winning 9-2.

 

Kisho & Metwally will play for the bronze medal tomorrow.
