CAIRO-22 July 2021: Galatasaray had a very shocking night in the Netherlands after losing 5-1 on Wednesday night to PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Of course it was not a pleasant night for Galatasaray's Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed, who played his first game in the prestigious competition.

Mostafa entered the game in the 60th minute when his team was losing 3-1 but he failed to overturn the result and watched his team conceding two more goals in the last 10 minutes of the game.

The team's head coach Fatih Terim stated after the game that Mostafa Mohamed was not 100% fit so he decided to keep the striker on the bench and use him in the second half.

The Turkish superpower needs a miracle to reach the next round of the qualifications when they host PSV Eindhoven in Istanbul next Wednesday.

It is worth mentioning that Galatasaray refused to let Mostafa Mohamed go with the Egypt U-23 national team to the Tokyo Olympic Games to help the Turkish giants in the UEFA Champions League qualifications.

It seems that it was not the best for Mostafa, who is now so close from saying goodbye to his dreams to play in the UEFA Champions League.
