CAIRO-5 June 2021: Rami Shaaban, Arsenal former goalkeeper, believes that it is better for Liverpool Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah to stay at Liverpool and play in the biggest league in the world.

Rami had a long spell at Arsenal, where he spent most of his time there as the second-choice goalkeeper. He was at Arsenal when the club won the Premier League title in 2004 without losing a single game.

The Egyptian born Swedish goalkeeper stated that Salah will be more successful if he stayed at Liverpool.

“Mohamed Salah is the best player in the history of Egyptian football. I want him to stay at Liverpool. He is now playing in the biggest league in the world.” Ramy told ONTime Sports on Friday.

Salah has been linked with a move away from Liverpool and many reports linked him with the French giants Paris Saint Germain.

Rami commented on the rumors, saying “It is better for Salah to continue his career in the Premier League. Playing in a strong league is better than playing in the French league, where PSG dominate the domestic scene.”
