CAIRO-29 May 2021: Al Ahly’s winger Salah Mohsen scored the second goal in the team’s 2-0 win over RS Berkane Berkane of Morocco on Friday in the CAF Super Cup.

The in-form winger spoke after the game, saying “We had a great game in front of our fans. We are happy to win the CAF Super Cup title and bring the trophy back home after seven years of absence.”

Mohsen kept his habit of scoring vital goals after coming from the bench after scoring against Zamalek in the league derby and scoring against Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

Mohamed Sherif broke the deadlock in the game with a fantastic shot from inside the opponent's box while Salah doubled the score, 8 minutes before the final whistle after he dribbled past the Moroccan goalkeeper to put the ball in the back of the empty net.

Salah added “I am so happy to score against RS Berkane but I am even more delighted to win the title. Winning trophies is more important than scoring goals.”

The Red Devils won their 7th CAF Super Cup title in the history, extending their record as the club with the most CAF Super Cup titles in the history.
