Alexander Lacazette in numbers

CAIRO - 6 July 2017: Wielding a high level of scoring skills, the young French Alexandre Lacazette has declined European giants and signed with Arsenal on Wednesday.

Arsenal has managed to sign the 26-year-old former Olympique Lyonnais striker for a £53 million ($68.5million) five season contract, with a weekly salary of £200,000 ($258,619), according to Super Kora.

Lacazette goals and assists in the past seasons:

13/14 season: 22 goals, 8 assists.
14/15 season: 31 goals, 8 assists.
15/16 season: 23 goals, 4 assists.
16/17 season: 37 goals, 5 assists.

Arsène Wenger, manager of Arsenal, expressed his enthusiasm about the Lyon-native signing to Arsenal’s official website, “We are very happy to have Alexandre join our group. He has shown over a number of years that he can score goals and that he is a very efficient finisher.”

Looking forward to the future Wenger added, “he has very interesting technical qualities and a strong character. So he is a guy who is a great addition for us, and someone who will help us challenge at the top level this season.”
