Badry speaks ahead of Cotton Sport match

CAIRO – 6 July 2017: Hossam el-Badry, Al-Ahly’s coach, spoke to Filgoal ahead of the Al-Ahly vs. Cotton Sport match in the last fixture of the CAF Champions’ League group stages on July 8 at Borg al-Arab Stadium.

Badry talked about how he is preparing the team for the upcoming match and how important it is to work hard to get the three points.

Talking to Filgoal, Badry said, “the talks that say that Cotton Sport is an easy team and Al-Ahly will be able to win is something false and doesn’t exist in football. These talks could have a negative impact on the team. The loss of Cotton Sport in all of his previous games doesn’t mean that we will win easily.”

Badry ended his talk to Filgoal saying, “Al-Ahly could pay heavily for the talks that say that Cotton Sport is a very poor team. We will have to prepare well for the game in order to qualify for the next round.”

Al-Ahly hopes to win the last game in the group against Cotton Sport in order to become second in the group and qualify for the next round.
