CAIRO-1 May 2021: During the great celebrations of Liverpool players last season at Anfield after securing the league title, no body expected that Liverpool's main target in the last stage of this season to be just securing a top-four spot and reach the UEFA Champions League next season.

However, even this goal is difficult for the Premier League title-holders, who have went through many tough moments this season.

Liverpool are going to challenge their arch-rivals Manchester United on Sunday in a win-or-die game for Jürgen Klopp and his players.

Liverpool's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah discussed the team's situation in the Premier League this season ahead of the decisive clash against the Red Devils of Manchester.

"I think the main target for the team and for me is to be in fourth place and to play in the Champions League. That’s the main target, that’s the most important thing.” Salah told the club's official website.

The Reds are in the sixth position with 54 points, seven points behind the fourth-placed Chelsea, with Liverpool having a game in hand.

Salah added "The pressure is higher and higher and it’s more difficult for us because now you just feel like you have to win every game."

Liverpool could lose their biggest stars of they failed to secure a place in the UEFA Champions League next season.
