CAIRO - 25 March 2021: Galatasaray Egyptian winger Mostafa Mohamed is being linked with a move to Italian giants, Lazio.

According to Italian reports, Lazio are looking forward to completing a swap deal with Galatasaray, involving Mostafa Mohamed and Lazio's Kosovan striker Vedat Muriqi.

Mostafa joined Galatsaray on one-and-half season loan from Zamalek and he managed to score in his debut in the league before scoring the winning goal in Istanbul Derby against Fenerbahçe.

Since joining Galatasaray, the Egyptian striker took the Turkish league by storm and he scored five goals, provided one assist in his 8 appearances with the club.

On the other hand, Muriqi failed to impress in his debut season with the club, having scored only two goals in 25 games.

It is worth mentioning that the Kosovan striker was a target for Galatasaray in 2019 but he decided to join arch-rivals Fenerbahce.

The Egyptian striker is one of the most promising talents in Africa and he is the starting striker for Egypt. Also, he is expected to lead the Egyptian Olympic team’s attacking line in the Olympic Games in Tokyo next summer.
