CAIRO –2 July 2017: Samsung will launch the new Galaxy Note8 cellphone on August 26, 2017. It will be the most expensive phone every sold by Samsung worth €999 ($1316.18 or LE 20,714).

The device is 6.3 inches with the same edge-to-edge ratio as the Galaxy S8 line, as stated in online technology publication VentureBeat. Measuring nearly the same size as last year’s Galaxy S8+, the Note8 marks the first time in seven years that Samsung is considering more than just a larger screen to distinguish between the Note and the S series.

One of the features that sets the new Galaxy Note8 apart is a 12 megapixel sensor and independent optical image stabilization for the lens, appearing as a feature for the first time in a Samsung phone.

The battery power of the Note8 is 3300mAh, and the software has improved to ease the use of split screen multitasking and the additional ability to pin handwritten notes to the always-on display.
