Transportation to and from Dahab is easy and available. You can fly from Cairo to Sharm el-Sheikh, then drive 100 kilometers straight to Dahab, or if you want to travel by car from Cairo you go through the Suez, on to Ras Sidr, then Tur, past Sharm el-Sheikh and into Dahab. The driving distance from Cairo is roughly 700 kilometers.

Be warned however, it is considered a dangerous dive to make even by veteran divers due to the depth and difficulty in locating the hole.
