Egyptians celebrating June 30 revolution - Amr Moustafa
CAIRO – 1 July 2017: Director of the Pyramid Antiquities Ashraf Mohi, said that Egyptians and foreigners were eager to visit the pyramids of Giza to celebrate the June 30 revolution.
Mohi said in a statement to Youm7 that the rate of visits remains normal and then increases to remarkable heights during the past period. He pointed out that the exposure of celebrating festivals and events inside archaeological sites indicate increasing awareness of the Egyptian history.
He explained that all the inspectors have been in the area since the morning. They are there to accompany the visitors and provide a comprehensive explanation about the history of the region, and the era of the pyramids. In addition, there will be a presence of heavy security from the Ministry of Antiquities and the police to prevent any abuses.
