CAIRO - 25 June 2017: Millions of Egyptians performed Eid al-Fitr prayers Sunday in many squares and mosques throughout Egypt.

In a remarkable scene, two churches in different location in Cairo overlooked praying Muslims in a symbol of solidarity and the strength of Egypt’s social fabric.

Egypt Today has captured the scene of the emergence of churches behind worshipers at the Cairo mosques of ‘Amr Ibn al-Aas’in Old Cairo and el-Seddiq in Sheraton.

The three-day Eid al-Fitr holiday marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month during which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.
